cleaning jag question

I have some of the older Parker hale type bore jags that I really like. the problem is with the copper removers, I can't tell for sure if the blue is the copper in the bore or the jag is providing the blue. I am curious if a brass jag can be cerakoted or something so I don't have to get some of the proof positive jags. if someone reading this has a means to coat them ( cerakote, teflon, melonite, or something) and could pm me details as to price and turnaround time, that would be great. if you have any questions, gimme a shout at 2284745595 or 2282181535(c). thanks in advance! bryant

I know of a couple of guys that have used clear top coat spray paint cans on them. But I think they have to redo them every so often. YMMV
