Cleaning carbon out of a suppressor

I guess you haven't read the previous posts - I am the manufacturer.

Knotwild, I've tried what you are suggesting using a piece of tubing that the original blast spacer was cut from. 2 on one end and three on the other end came out that way.
I just picked up an expanding pressure test cap for my PVC soaker. So I can now shake the CLR/hot water solution after placing the suppressor and solution in the PVC soaker. I will soak for 30 minutes shaking occasionally AFTER it warms up a little. No hurry, I won't be shooting the suppressor until the groundhogs are out in the spring.

Nomad47, I am glad you are making progress. Maybe once you get it cleaned, reassembled, and start shooting again it would pay to take it apart more often and keep the freeze plugs coated with something like Never Seize.

I'm with Knotwild on this. I set an upper limit (admittedly arbitrary) of 500 rounds between cleanings, though 1000 rounds would probably be fine. And a quality high temp anti-seize (among those readily available locally, I prefer the copper based NeverSeize, which we find at NAPA) on the OD of the baffles and all threads will make future take downs easier, based on my experience. Yessir, my foil bread pan developed 4 pin holes after CLR was in it for two days.
