Here's a prime example of what the magneto speed does to groups attached to the barrel.
This first pic is with the magneto speed on at 500 yards.

Now here's the same load without the magnetospeed same distance same sitting.

This is from a barrel that's 1.250 straight so just imagine what it do to a smaller barrel and lighter gun.
I'm new to the magneto speed but any logic is going to tell you it's going to effect the harmonics of a barrel.

I will tell you that if you shoot at a range with others, public or private, eventually you will buy the Magnetospeed. I literally can assemble and attach the unit to the barrel in less than 30 seconds. I can fire my rounds, save the data to memory in no time at all without inconveniencing others or tempting them to ask to send a few rounds over my chrono too. No tedious time calling the line safe, aligning screens, tippy tripods, tangled cords, etc.

James - was there also a muzzle brake removed when the group with the magneto was shot?
Ledd Slinger said:Probably would HAVE to remove a brake or there wouldn't have been any more magneto speed to use
Another disadvantage of Magnetospeed for the list I suppose...
So was the group without the magnetospeed fired without the brake as well or did you screw it back on?
