Check out this video of the Church shooting in TX this morning.

I live in Godley TX. Its southwest of Fort Worth. I'm an HVAC contractor and take care of a few large churches in Fort Worth. They have to have 24/7 armed guards and there is a lot of the congregation that carries. Thank god we are able to carry unlike a lot of states. No telling how many lives that man saved because we can carry here. Thank god that man had the courage and skill to use his weapon effectively.

It is sad that a church has to have armed guards. This is what the world has come to.

That old man can shoot better than some of the best !

That man is a real life hero and his actions should be publicly glorified.
I watched the local news here in Austin and they just credited security guards lol.... Not even a mention of armed citizens... I think the video proves a little different story... Shame I doubt it will even be on the news tomorrow.... NOW if the bad guy would have killed a bunch of people it would be on for a week...

It is a sad state of affairs if you need to have armed guards(mostly armed members of the congregation) in any house of worship.
It doesn't matter what religion you are, you should be able to practice it peacefully.
But you can't not only in the US, but all over the world.
That's why we need armed sentinals at the gate. To let people worship as they see fit.

Nice shot placement buy the man that dropped him. The first person talking to the shooter froze, though he could have charged and possibly neutralized the situation, first person shot failed on drawing his weapon and drew the shooters attention and first round.

Always expect the unexpected..... fractions of seconds are the difference between survival and death.
If you carry, accessibility and first shot placement is critical as this footage demonstrated.

….. and 'they' want to take our rights to own/carry away.

It's definitely sad that it happened at all. It's truly depressing that in this country we can't even worship in peace, without having to worry about being killed. OTOH there were only 3 shots fired and justice was administered quickly, so hopefully that will deter the next crazy person thinking about doing the same thing.
Thank God that someone in that church could shoot well.
Pray to GOD that the wounded recover and prayers go to the people that were there so they have the courage to keep going to their place of worship. It would be horrible and it would be a win for the shooter if people quit going there because of fear that it might happen again!

Prayers go out to the people of that congregation!!

What nationality, etc. He was a criminal and on a criminal mission to murder. But thankfully more than one person was carrying and took him out, very fast, before he could murder any more. Two he killed is two to many. But now the criminal has had justice served on him and he is dead and will not kill another person.

Horrible that these shootings happen. I could never understand how the shooter can keep shooting people without being taken down but the video shows that most people just put their head down and hope for the best while the shooter reloads instead of taking action. They are innocent victims but you need to do something to avoid being a victim. Prayers for all those involved.

Watching that video was a reality wake up call on what it really takes to take down a bad guy.

My deepest condolences to everyone (not just those in this incident) who lost a loved one in such a horrific way.

YES That is the stupidity of the clowns in our Gov. today. We can vote them out and we can stand up firmly against the trash that is beginning to try and take our rights away in Virgina now.

It is truly a sad state of affairs that we have slipped to. with that said, this video brings back home an analogy that was given to me in training years ago.
There are four classes of people.
1. The sheep
2. The wolves
3. The shepard
4. The hunter of wolves.

If you watch the video and not concentrate on the shooters, you will see the first three mindsets plainly. fortunately for us, we have our great military and law enforcement that are the hunters of wolves.
