Chasing The 44-40, Hunting 2022

I only hunted five days this year: Nov 21st, 22nd, 29th, Dec 7th and 24th.
Mostly 28-30 degree mornings and 40-50 degree afternoons.
The last day was -1 by morning and 13 degree by noon.

With the adverse weather, rain and wind, and other family issues, I only got to hunt five days this year.

November - Private Land, in Burke county
Day 1: 21st - daylight till 4pm, nothing, maybe 40 degrees
Day 2: 22nd - daylight till 2pm, shot an 8-10 point 2pm maybe 45 degrees
Day 3: 29th - daylight till dark, watched a doe and 6 point by 10am maybe 35 degrees
Day 4: 7th - daylight till 1pm, nothing, rain...called it quits

December Public land in Wilkes county
Day 5: 24th - harvested a spike 12:35pm maybe 13 degrees

I still need to convert some of the YouTube videos to google doc videos, but the details can be found here

Now it is time to work on some coyotes for 2023.....
