I don't see the "person of interest" seen jumping off the building holding a bolt action hunting style rifle. That guy might be involved, but I have my doubts whether he's the shooter.

Too coincidential for one to ask a trans question at time of shot. By the pics shown it looks to me like a person of oriental decent- IF that is the shooter.

The things I found most useful in my secondary and graduate level training was where to look up stuff, and how to assess and critically evaluate data and information and form my own conclusions. Are those things being taught in our institutions of higher learning today?

First, don't project your knowledge onto someone else. Just because you wouldn't do it that way doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't. Especially when it comes to the "this doesn't make sense" kinda stuff. Of course most of us wouldn't try jumping off a series of rooftops carrying a long rifle. But a 20-something who is obviously not in their right mind and doesn't have any training would. Also, the footage of the alleged shooter leaving the roof is so grainy you can't tell what he may or may not be carrying, or how. I suspect he was carrying it, got to the woods and realized "Why the hell am I lugging this boat-anchor around with me?", and dropped it. There is also another video that claims to be of the shooter escaping that is actually from a different shooting in June or July in Nevada. Make sure you are looking at the right one, people.

The gun itself is pretty indicative of the fact that the person isn't a pro. Just look at how it is set up. Looks a lot like the franken-guns and other crappy firearms used in recent attacks by mentally ill children.

Finally, the location of the shot is about 140 yards from where Charlie was sitting. The fact that he was hit in the neck also provides evidence of the shooter's lack of skill. Just like the Trump shooter, I suspect he was going for a head shot and missed. Unfortunately, unlike the Trump shooter, he missed in such a manner that he did hit something vital. A pro wouldn't miss and surely wouldn't aim for the neck.

It appeared he had his phone in his right front jean pocket. Video this morning had zoom to it, he is wearing the back pack and carrying what appears to be an object wrapped in a cloth(towel). I think he hid the rifle on the roof the night before, would have done it after the sun shelter was setup for Charlie to sit under. Shooter would have to confirm a line of sight. Especially since Charlie was going to be in the bowl and all the trees and buildings surrounding the amphitheater. Haven't heard anything about the timing of Charlies show prep.

It is amazing to me what people can come up with. When it jumps off the roof, you can see very briefly something that looks like a jacket, or perhaps the rifle wrapped in a towel, watch it again.

The question I have, is the still shots in the stairwell clearly do NOT show a weapon, where is it? Are they claiming it was prepositioned?

As far as the airplane, "illegally turned off its radar" what an incredibly ignorant statement. There is no "radar" at least not as far as what people think that it means. Turned off their ADSB? perhaps they took off VFR and then picked up a squawk code in the air. Very common and not illegal. I've done that many times.

Look up Skye Valadez on Youtube. IF any of that is real, its pretty damning.

I agree! I am also amazed that so many people say that that was such an easy shot, they must be the same ones that shoot .2 MOA all day with their factory hunting rifle and factory ammo.

^^^^^ both of those statements are the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Many game animals get killed every day with rifles and shooters that are worse than what we are seeing here. Ive seen long range archers that could make that shot with an adjustable sight and a range finder. Slop luck happens to poor shooters as well as talented shooters.
