I saw on their website that they sell actions in the white. Now I know that a 98 action won't win any benchrest matches, but I've had this idea about building a 6.5-06 nagging me for a couple of years. Does anyone have any opinions pro or con about these actions?

And do a search, or visit the gunsmith section. The general feeling is that they are a cheap and OK way to get into a mauser action rifle. Some fit and finsish to get a top notch rifle.

I feel a CZ 550 would be a better choice..

The CZ550 is a better choice. The Chas. Daly receivers and barreled actions are being discontinued as they are now part of Big Green.We were notified last week by our wholesale supplier, Jerrys Sports.
