Charitable donations

One of my old endeavors, Angel Flight. They provide and facilitate free, donated private and commercial air travel to people in need of medical treatment who are unable to afford the transportation and treatments. Provides a lot of flights in the eastern U.S. for burn patients up to the Shriner's Hospital in Boston. They can also take CC miles and other miles.

Dunklin Memorial Camp, Okeechobee, Florida. Drug and alcohol rehab for anyone for free. We use the grounds for a retreat and I meet Russians and Estonians there. They told me when the Iron Curtain fell the USSR asked the US State Dept about a place to learn drug and alcohol rehab to take home with them. The US State Dept told the USSR that Dunklin had the highest rate of success of anyone in the USA.

Thanks everybody.
After thinking back, I remembered the red Cross bringing us sandwiches and water a long time ago, when we had a terrible flood, and our neighborhood was cut off by a washed out bridge, and water over the other.. That will keep it local.

May be too late, but how about the NRA Foundation? 501c3 charity. Supports the 2nd Amendment by supporting youth shooting sports, firearm safety & education, law enforcement, public shooting ranges and a whole lot more.

World Magazine recently did a run down on Red Cross vs Local churches in disaster relief, and of course FEMA. Local churches "won" as far as hands on, real life cost effective staying power in disasters.

For me, Worldview Academy....and Worldview at the Abbey. Both are Christian training for young people...a defense of the faith, practical servant leadership training that flies in the face of the snowflake mentality. Son is a grad and now a staff member who raises his own support to serve. niche organization that really changes lives.
