Changing Beer Brands

Yuengling has been my choice now for quite a while. Good beer made in PA by one of the last independent breweries remaining.
While it seems easy to say you will never buy Bud Light again you may still be supporting InBev buying several other brands. They own A-B and A-B owns 500 Iconic Brands per their website.
You may know what many of them are, Bud, Michelob, Stella, Land Shark to name a few but the surprise comes when you realize ALL Miller and Coors brands are now owned by InBev as well.
My beer of choice for years. At the gun club we call it Ying Yang. My oldest boy toured the brewery and the owner Dick Yuengling took them on a private tour.

so yuengling is cool? i get coors light mostly. i will certainly switch! i like lauger in bottles best.

assuming this is still true, we need a good and bad list!

From some of the above posts Coors may or may not be associate, let’s hope for the best.

Any true beer lover knows beer is made with barley not rice. (Sez a graduate of Budweiser University with the diploma to prove it.)

Reflecting on my day today, I think I saw some immediate action on the Budweiser Poop. Went to a jury summons this morning and got turned out pretty quickly because of a plea deal. Anyway I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things on the way home. Going in the store I noticed a company guy grab a cart with a not to friendly expression on his face, noticed he went to the beer section and loading up his basket with the beer in question. Knowing the owners that has these stores in several local towns and them being Christian’s, I bet he called his Vendors and had them remove the Bud-lite.

My late uncle made beer, was pretty good a quart of it would make you relax for awhile, good enough I think the Germans tried to copy or steal his recipe.

Jury summons? Now there's something I haven't dealt with since the 1980s. I happened to mention jury duty to my physician during an annual physical, and he said "Oh, with your profound hearing loss, you don't need to deal with that. I'll write a letter to the selection board." I never received another summons.

Reinheitsgebot - the ancient German beer purity laws. Today it boils down to this: only malted grains, hops, water and yeast are permitted in beer. I've sought out beer over five continents, and for my money, if I had to choose one country for beer, it'd be Germany.
