chamfer & deburring

I have always Chamfer and deburr my shell cases the first time I reload them. My question is do you have to do this? If you are just reloading for a round like 223 where semi auto used just spraying rounds down range. Accuracy is not a huge concern.
I do. If nothing else it will keep small burrs of brass from breaking off and sticking in your die.

Somehow im much less interested if accuracy is not the main objective in everything I shoot.
Thats just me, but I think some of ya fellas feel the same here.

I would agree with you Wayne
Different folks different….
For me it’s accuracy and I can’t think of what would be second.

It's a combination of accuracy , and the undue wear on my Dies . Removing the Burrs on the outside of the case neck means I'm not shoving a case into a bushing with a burr that can scratch the bushing , or break off in the bushing area , causing other sizing issues . And I chamfer for less wear on my expander , and more consistent seating .
