Chamber reamer question

Can you get a print of your reamer from the manufacturer by sending the info off the reamer? Date,numbers,etc

Usually, as long as the print is public.

Depends on who you got it from. One of them probably won't even have a record of ever grinding one.

JGS will only release a print if they ask the original designer. I have had reamers that customers had here that passed away and they still wanted proof of the death to give up a print even though they know me. I cant even get them to give me a neck size so I can mark a barrel with a customers reamer. One of the many reasons I only use JGS. They used to call me often to ask if so and so could have a print, he said I said he could have. Most of the time I had never heard the name. Now they dont bother me any more with those calls lol.

Yeah JGS are good people like that. I lost all my reamer prints in a computer crash. Emailed them who I was a approx dates I purchased and they sent copies within a couple of days.
