Sloughhouse Benchrest Shooters held our first CF match of the year, our popular Chabot Special.
Attendance was a little light with questionable weather forecast and a few bowing out with "honey-dos".
Weather was actually fairly mild, little drizzle early but not bad for the Ione Triangle.
We had a couple of new (to us) shooters (Jeff & Bill) join us and they seemed to enjoy themselves, especially
Bill when it came to collecting the awards (cash) at the end. Appreciate Tom and Shawn coming down the hill to join us, just wasn't enough wind for you guys.
Congratulations to Steve Epstein for steering his 30 BR to the overall win, and I'm grateful for his help,
and everyone else who chipped in with setup and teardown.
One other thing, a word to the wise:
If you bring your 3-lug 6BR, and bring the correct 6BR ammo, it doesn't matter how hard you try to shove your 3-Lug PPC bolt against the BR case it just won't resize the rim enough to make it work. Ask me how I know.

Aside from that and a few issues with the computer getting it to tabulate the results, my day was marvelous thanks for asking.
Hope to see everyone in March, it will be another Chabot Special.
