Center Shot Rifles Public Announcement.

To all;

Center Shot Rifles will be in the process of ownership transfer in the upcoming months. All current Rifle orders will be completed, by me, over the next few months, as I seek a buyer for the Rifle Manufacturing business. I am thus suspending the taking of ANY new projects. Muzzle brakes will still be available for shipping to you or your gunsmith. If you currently have a rifle on order, or scheduled work with me, I will be completing it before my move. If you have any questions, feel free to call the shop. I will be available after the transfer date to do any customer service related duties with previously produced rifles.

Anyone interested in acquiring a busy and profitable Rifle Manufacturing Facility may contact me via phone or e-mail for more information. All equipment and tooling will sell with the shop. The building is only 7 years old, potential buyer can expect to live in a great small town in the heart of Wisconsin, with great hunting, shooting, and outdoor recreational opportunities. I will be in the shop until at least June, and will provide one on one training to the new owner during this time.

I am happy to announce that I have taken a position with Surgeon Rifles of Prague, OK. Recent events required a family move which will position my family in the greater Oklahoma City Area. I would like to thank all my customers for their past business; it was a pleasure serving you.

Sincerely, Jim See

Thanks Erik and Rod, I will defiantly be making a Houston match, and will shoot the OKC, I had a good time at the January OKC match, even got the wife to shot a relay.

You need to visit the Luther range. Come visit us at the range in Denton, Tx.
I think you will like Oklahoma, your job, and people.

You had me till you said Wisconsin. I'm immigrating South, not North. Ohio winters are bad enough after 14 years in LA (Lower Alabama).

Seriously, congrats on the new position. I really enjoyed the Can Do attitude of the SouthWest when I live there.

Jim, make sure you get a house big enough to have a couple spare bedrooms....I know these guys who need a room to stay at during shoots! Good luck in Oklahoma.

Hope you'll have motivation & time to come back north to Lodi & Winnequah as often as possible... of course you'll be missed!

Surgeon's / OK's gain will be WI's loss Jim, good luck & best wishes always.

Thank you for all the kind words, I will try and make it to WI for a summer vacation/shoot/and fishing week.
Bob you wouldn't imagine how many people have said that, So I will look for a big house just for you snow-birds.

Last time I was in OK I was talking to a guy about skeeters and he said they get pretty bad there sometimes??

I figured he had never spent a week in the north woods during a rainy summer. When I was 15, I spent a summer in a conservation work camp. The cabins were not bug proof and you literally slept with a sheet and a blanket over your entire body, even if it was 90 degrees, or the constant buzzing and biting drove you nuts.

I've been in Wisconsin and Minnesota during the early summer and the mosquitoes are not that bad. All that talk about 12 gauge shotguns and state birds is BS. They're nothing that a good 20 gauge can't handle. ;) [br]
Now, if you want to talk about black flies; that's another story. They're sent from hell. [br]
Good luck in OK, Jim. Al least it will be warmer this time of year.

Jim, congrats on the opportunity and good luck selling your shop! Now you'll also be closer to Nebraska! Stop by on your way down if you wanna go to the range and shoot some pistols. I'd be glad to let you play with a few and show you my shop! And I hope you enjoy OK. I've got a bunch of family down that way and have always enjoyed visiting.
