Cci 450 vs 7.5 toughness of cup

I have been using cci 450, cci br4, federal 205m, 1990 vintage rws srp, new issue rws srp, 1980's vintage rem 7 1/2 (2 anvil) and newer rem 7 1/2 (3 anvil) primers in 6mm BR, .17 rem, 6x47 lap, 222, 223 etc.

Easy chambering and extraction of cases, satisfactory visual inspection of fired primers, continuing firm primer seating and removal etc all indicate pressures are not excessive in these calibres.

However, I no longer use the new 3 anvil rem 7 1/2 's due to the occasional pin hole leaks on the primer edges.

cheers

You think pin hole leaks are from primer brand or design?

In what way better?
In terms of cratering, possibly staying away from a pierced primer if the 450s had a tougher cup. What I'm thinking may not make any sense. It is a thought I have. In the next day or two ill have to use some 450s and work up to the charge with 7.5s. That should tell me what I'm wondering.

For my higher pressure loads I have found 205 MAR and CCI 450 to work well and give very similar results on chrono and on target.
R 7 1/2 will do the job too but personal preference will be to use the 450 or the MAR for those loads. Have never used BR4 so no basis for comparison.

For bigger cases like a BR ive found the 450 to be better than the 7.5 but smaller like 20P, 20VT etc the 7.5 has won out in accuracy but one should test different primers
