how does case volume effect accuracy

I would surmise that consistency or lack thereof, of case volume would affect accuracy. jd
There are 3 case volume states; initial, maximum, and differential(between them).
Initial is a sized case under no firing pressure yet. Maximum is that case fully expanded against an expanded chamber under pressure.
For differential; Smaller initial volume that leaves greater chamber clearance will actually reduce peak pressure. Greater volume that leaves less chamber clearance will increase peak pressure. Given same clearances, smaller volume increases pressure & opposite with more volume.
Consistency in itself isn't enough, in that you still need to develop and manage your load with these conditions at an optimum.

All the above are correct, do you mean is a compressed load more accurate than say a 90% fill?
