case trimmer purchase

hi! I'm looking at purchasing a new case trimmer and am considering redding, forster and RCBS and am looking for some input from people who have experience with these brands. i load several cals so having something that is easy and accurate to adjust from one to another would be good. currently i don't turn necks.

Has anyone used the RCBS with the three way trimmer and or neck turning attachments?

how does the forster actually hold the case head?

AusFclass; I've been using the Forster for more years than I care to remember, and see no reason to change. Case head is held in place by a collet, each holding several different case head sizes, several different collets available. I have noticed that case lengths can vary, by a few thousands, depending on how much "push pressure" you put on the cutter shaft. Various attachments are available to cut primer pocket crimp on military brass, de-burr, etc. Tried their outside neck turner tool, but was not impressed: use the Sinclair & K&M for outside neck turning. Overall a good tool/ Wilson is also good, maybe better?), but you must have a shell holder for each different case, and the set-up time for each case is a little longer. Both good, like comparing Remington vs Savage.

Aussy:
I did not like any of the trimmers that mount the case by the case head. I went with the Wilson case trimmer with the Sinclair bases because it works off the center line of the case. It's been a very good system. It does require case holders for each cartridge however.

There website lacks but the assembly is in the catalog. Part #05-420 & #05-4800. Maybe they will e-mail you photos.
Good luck,
Mike

YES I CONSIDERED THE WILSON TRIMMER BUT I THINK UNLESS YOUR DOING INSIDE NECK REAMING THE FULL BODY SHELL HOLDER WOULD BE MORE TIME CONSUMING THAN ITS WORTH? HAS ANYONE USED THE RCBS THREE WAY TRIMMER SOUNDS GOOD BUT DOES IT WORK? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SHELL HOLDERS AND PILOTS COME WITH THE FORSTER CLASSIC?

I have 3 RCBS set up for 3 calibers, each with the 3-way on it.
wouldn't change that for anything else as they are set to length and clean up the inside and outside of the neck.
Picked them up one at a time to help save on set up time.

I have one other RCBS that I use for other than my Match Brass.

When I need to turn any necks I have been using a Lyman trimmer/neck turning tool, seems to work, but I don't use it much.
