The main thing is to get rid of any burr on the inside and the 45° tool is a good one for that as you don't need more taper when when seating boat tail bullets. If you're seating flat base bullets, I like to go with a 30° tool, which makes for better seating . . . IMHO.Looking to switch over to wilson prep tools, I noticed that Wilson offers a hand crank inside chamfering tool, 30 and 45 degree, in prepping 17 hornet, 22 k hornet .223, 22ppc, would the 45 degree be the one to look at?
