Case lube, one shot

One shot Spray=bad ju ju.
I have used the lanolin and the red Heet, mixed in spray bottle...but mostly just go back to Hornady one shot can spray lube for most simple resizing of my fired cases. Throw a few hundred in a zip lock gallon bag...spray & shake bag with lubed brass...repeat several times ...go by feel as to how much needs to be applied, to keep sizing consistent. Then wet tumble to remove lube...or roll in your favorite bath towels to remove lube...I use the old bath towels and wash them, and reuse to dry OD or remove lube. I do a thousand at a time, most times, 223 to 308. So ya always have clean sized cases to run through the progressive.

I have been using it for a long time. 20+ years. Works fine for me.
Spray it on and then let it dry off. If you dont let the carrier evaporate you will stick a case for sure.
99% alcohol is way harder to find than iso-heet
I agree DJ. I’ve formed literally tens of thousands pieces of brass and NEVER stuck a single case.

I have seen this thread around One shot numerous times. I have used it to size over 25,000 precision cases and have never had a stuck case.
***dies need to be completely cleaned of previous lube/wax etc. For whatever reason One shot does not play well with other lubes.

I forgot Amazon literally has everything. Lots of garbage, but in this case 99% alcohol is not a complex item.

Same here.
The instructions do call for a fair amount of shaking.
If it's not well shaken, I think mostly propellant/solvent comes out => that would tend to make the cases get really stuck.
Exactly DJ. People who tried it and had something negative to say about it like it's this or that never got the hang of using it correctly because if they did they won't have any other response other than it works great.
And PLEASE let it “dry” or flash off for at least 2-3 minutes before attempting to size….if you do this it’s almost impossible to stick a case.

I've used it off-and-on for years. Follow the directions and it works OK. Not the best around, but not as bad as people who don't follow directions make it out to be. It's a lot neater to use than any of the wax/lanolin mixes, which is why I sometimes go back to it.

The thing is I never use it like the directions say. I manipulate the spray nozzle to where it just dribbles out of the red extension tube and I do cases one at a time. Some of you out there would be too impatient for the way I do it but one can goes a long way the way I do it. Plus I'm in no hurry anyways.
I use One Shot Lube and love it. Easy to apply uniformly. I intentionally get it inside the necks. Seating pressure is very consistent. Single digit ES’s and SD’s are the norm. Great product.
