Case for REALLY Long Competition Guns

I got the long, purportedly hard, case from bullets.com. We'll see what shows up on the delivery truck. After choking down the price for a new Manners F-Class stock and Panda F-class action I've been looking to economize where feasible.

FYI - that case is not meant for airline travel. It is a case you use for local matches where the rifle needs protection to and from the range and you have several rifles in the back of your vehicle.

We also have shorter ones for shorter guns and pistols. We bring in the Bald Eagle ones ourselves so the prices are very good as we sell direct.

Sorry if I didn't read the whole thread carefully, but nobody seemed to mentioned Prone2Success cases. They're the hoy ticket for your long barreled guns. Joe bob says... "Check them out."

Couldn't you just break the action from the stock? Or is it glued?

One suggestion I got when I was asking the same question was an airline case made for skis. That came from a Kentucky long gun shooter that travels a lot. I DO like the idea of taking the action out of the stock and getting a Pelican case. My 300 Lapua has a 34" barrel which also lead to a LONG A$$ cleaning rod as well...... 8)
