Cartridge options with .223 Rem Bolt Face?

22 or 24 Nosler

222 Remington, 20 Practical, 6x45 (6mm-223), 221 Fireball and my per favorite 20VT. If you are worried about feeding, then look at the first 3.

Just had a 20-222 built. I have a lot of Lapua 222 brass and it’s made sense. Easy to load, my rifle was built by Zack at Old Dominion and shoots itty bitty. 222 would be another fun one if you haven’t played with one in the past, typically a couple very accurate and easy to tune round.

22-204 & 20 practical would be others I’d consider.

The 20 practical, or something with that case would be easy to get brass. I have several lifetime amount of 223 brass. The 6x45 was easy to processes for. I like the fireball but reading about some extraction issues, my gunsmith can fix that. Also feeding issues.

The 6 & 7mm TCU line, or a 6mm Mongoose. The Mongoose is setup to function in an AR Mag with 100-105 grain bullets. You shorten the 223 case .050, then die form, and blow out the body and shoulder at 40 degrees get 32 grains of H2o capacity.
Produces better accuracy and velocity than the 6x45.
This is the Mongoose with 80s.
