Canadian Nationals

I Commonwealth terminology, Target Rifle is a sling discipline, as distinguished from F Target Rifle or F-TR.

I see, so f-res is FT/R ? What does F-res stand for? Restricted?

Not sure if you can visit without being a member but there is the gross scores for everyone in F class.

Looks like some really fine shooting with very tight range of scores in the top 20. Many are being separated by V count.

Lots of position changes for each relay

Now there is no separation between OPen and FTR so a bit confusing but at least there are the list of scores for each distance and day.

The DCRA site is much better. Look for all scores related to FCNC... that is the F class shooters

The F-F are the FTR shooters.

The weather up here has not been very kind to the shooters I can tell you that. Been Raining every day since I got here on Wed. They had to shoot in some down right down pours as well. Cool temps and very very damp. Glad Im just bumbing around waiting on the TR stuff to start.

In this situation... F-Res refers to F-TR

I guess they didn't want to risk a typo between FTR and TR.

Yes, the field for TR (slings and open sights) from around the world is always huge.

There is no such thing as "F-Res".

This was the Canadian F-Class Nationals, and there were no sling or open sight shooters, or any other odd off-shoot of F-Class. Just F-Open and F-T/R. There was a big group of F-T/R shooters.

It's been a while since I had 5 1/2 minutes of left wind on my .300 WSM and was holding left 3+, then holding right 3 1/2 two shots later.

You ought to try the 230's, Shiraz. They work better than those stubby, low B.C. 215's. ;)

Had a great time at shoot met lots of nice people from USA and western Canada and had the pleasure of been paired up with James Crofts for 3 relays, he showed me the advantages of having a spotting scope to read mirage conditions and be able to see what's happening on many targets on range. he is some fine gentleman. He gave me some nice pins and pens from the Raton 2013 shoot. and that John Pierce is a plain gem always has a smile. I bet him a beer for the most Vs or as US shooters call Xs on last team shoot, dam he got me I had 6 and he had 7.
I was pleased for a old timer shooting a MOUSE GUN 223 & 90GR. up against those 215 30 cal might of climbed up from 10th a position or two if I had not forgot to dial down to 800m from 900 m and fired 2 sighters and one on score for zeros
70v8 0V5VVVVV5VV5555
there was only 2 shooters using the 223 they came in at 10Th and 13 positions in FTR class
It was nice to see all the young shooters at shoot doing very very well.
For all the F class shooters they should build some 223 and get there children, grand children & nephews and wives and F class will grow even faster.
Well I off to the America Cup it should be great, on one team shoot the US team and Canadian team tied in score but US had two more V bulls.
will try and post results for everyone later today, sorry for been so longwinded
