can you add a Redding micro seater to standard seating dies???

Hi
Can you just add a Redding micro seating stem to a standard redding seating die to get a micro seating die??

I have a standard 6BR seater and want to get a micro seater- can I just purchase the micro seater stem??

No. The standard seaters and the competition seaters,micro) are totally different from top to bottom. The only common part is the locking ring.

If you're shooting a std 6mm Norma BR case, just get the Wilson stainless Micrometer seater,hand die). It's worth it. You WILL see more consistent seating force bullet to bullet, less variation in base to ogive, and slightly less run-out.

You'll need an arbor press, but it doesn't have to be fancy. The ram on a drill press works just fine.
