Can Only Connect to Forum with Cellular?

Guys,
I am trying to escalate this. What experts are telling me is that I need to know the IP on your computers/devices that are NOT able to connect.

You can find your IP here:

https://iplocation.com/

But please note. The IP will be different if you are using your cell phone without WiFi.

So please get the IP for the computer or device that is NOT connecting.

Please send the not-connecting device IP via private message.

Do NOT post your IP Here.

Thank you Paul for trying to resolve this.

I was an Engineer for Comcast Corp.. Helped build a huge NOC Center and converted all of their subsidiary divisions databases to one. We used to bump ATT users from our towers for fun..We rented space to all carriers. They sold their Cell division in mid 2000. We also had the ability to filter any data over our Internet Provider network..They have a history of screwing around with op-positional companies and Ideas..Which is why I quit..

Couldn't connect a couple days ago.
Back up for two days.
Down again on home internet, today. (Google)
Never any interruption via Verizon mobile.
If I can help provide info for troubleshooting, please PM.
Thanks for all you do to keep this forum going.

I've been fine through all if this. I have 4 computers around the house. All use chrome. Woke up this morning and assumed the site was down. Homepage is fine but forum won't connect. Same on all 4 computers trying 3 different browsers.

Finally decide to turn wifi off on rhe phone and it connected.

I dont like using the phone. Hope this gest resolved soon.

I’m starting to think it’s a solar flare thing. My hook up seems to work better in the evening when the sun isn’t shining.

Make fun of me if you want but nobody else’s theory seems to be any better.

Ok if you one of you has trouble getting on change your dns settings to 1.1.1.1 .....
This will only work if someone can ping the numeric address but not reach the site by name. If they can't get a ping back from the numeric address, there's no route to the host. It's like a landslide blocked the only road between two points. You can't clear it, the DOT has to get involved.

Looking back mine seems to work at night and not during the day, might be something to that...

Mine has went all day and then gotten better in the evening a couple of times but for the most part no pattern that I could detect with it.

It is indeed behaving as if it were a DNS resolution issue. I have had the problem but did not diagnose it at the time. In looking at it now, it is working. If this happens again, run each of these commands and get the results back to the forum boss.
