Can a .416 be used in ELR matches?

ELR is a recently made up shooting disipline. Like Kwanza is to Christmas. I've been shooting out to 2,640 yrds with some guys out here for several years, they call it ELR. Apperantly ELR Central became the self appointed arbitrator of ELR. They define an ELR match as having at least one target in the subsonic range. In reality if you came to shoot your 416 whatever and it is supersonic at all target distances, the ATF aint commin for you, and there probobly aint a chronograph at all the targets. You can chesk out the ELR Central site as well as URL guys over in California, and some other guys in Montana Elite Long Range that are doing some amazing shooting. most the guys around here are dirt shooters occasionaly hitting a steel plate too big for one man to lift.

You’ll even see 460’s and 50’s at matches as well.
