Typical...sad for all you guys and gals. And then I think about the practicality of enforcing this kind of crap, and the old "pile on and plea to one" effect takes place. It has been my experience that when a true criminal is caught (eight or nine times) they have a list of charges six feet long. The attorneys meet and bargain and he pleads to one or two (saves taxpayer money ya know) and he gets the rest free. They drop the federal charges or don't even look at them, and off he goes to the revolving door of rehabilitation...only to be released again in a short time. MEANWHILE, good people who putter along in life and never act out or steal worry about whether your brother you might lawfully lend your birdgun to, might keep it 31 days and get stopped for speeding...shells on the floor (and who doesn't lose a shotshell to the floor?) and after a search, oh gosh darn, Bill you are a criminal for lending a gun to your pain in the butt brother who never gave back your Elvis 8 track either!

Of course every person in California should FEEL safer now...and aint that what we have come to? FEELING safe is a human right, totally devoid of any personal responsibility.

Again, sorry for you guys. And like NY, massive civil disobedience to follow...

now that governor brown has signed those bills I will never be in California again. I will also check and will never buy anything that I no is made in that state and that includes fruit. I was taking my grandkids to Disneyland but have canceled that and booked a trip to Disneyland in another state! jerry brown sucks!

No worries, may well be that early on into 2017, the tyranny of one party rule will envelop all of the land that was once a freedom lovin’ America, ‘til they blew it.

Brown was a fool the first time around and then the stupid people of California voted him in again. They have gotten exactly what they asked for.

"the stupid people of California voted him in again. They have gotten exactly what they asked for"
That says it all!!

For now, I feel safe knowing Governor Moonbeam is out of the country on vacation.;)

Hey Mike,
What say we start a fund to keep that POS out of the state for a longer while. I've never fully understood how that clown was voted back in for round two. Kinda shows you the quality of voters we now have to entertain in this state anymore. Hollyweird can't even house that many morons. Can't wait to see how the vote goes for Newsome's bills (Brown half-azzed step son) in November or for him in 2018 to replace his half brained father, Brown, as Governor.

Too bad the only part of this deal

that was successful, was the double cross. Lots of good country and good folks in California.

Maybe ole Brown should've hung around and passed a law to stop turning felonious illegal aliens loose, before he jetted off so quick. Seems like some of those guys don't even need a 10 round magazine to kill people.

Although, I'm sure the gov. had important plans to celebrate Independence Day in a foreign country, or maybe he just couldn't tolerate what it stands for. Or, it may be that he just can't feel safe at home till the ban is in effect.

Why do they keep voting the same people in office? Comyfornia needs to vote out the old and get some people in office that will stop this crap. I live near Austin tx and a bunch of them come here because of the tech jobs and all ways want to try and bring their rules with them. We don't want them This is Texas not California.

We don't want them here in Calofornia either...

Lol that's a good one... I feel for you guys... They just keep adding crap, maybe if they add one more law it will stop.. Criminals don't follow the law no matter how many laws they pass.. Thats why their criminals.. I guess its to hard for them to grasp the concept.. Seems really easy to everyone else.

I will tell you what the worse part about background checks for ammo is. Are they gonna criminalize reloading ammo there, because unlike guns you can circumvent the background check system?

None of it makes any sense to me , it will only put law abiding citizens in jail. Criminals will get ammo and keep their hi-cap magazines.. None of these laws would have stopped anything.. Crime and terrorists are not new concepts they have been around for a long time..

I get tired of hearing the FBI went out and talked to them 3 times and they were not deemed to be a threat...WHAT? If the FBI has to come talk to you 3 times there a damn problem. How many of us have never had the FBI come talk to us but we are the ones getting OUR rights taken away...

Actually Brown is the most sane one in Sacramento. He does veto a few bills. I'm afraid that after he is gone the next governor (likely Newsom) will sign everything that comes across his desk and beg for more. --Jerry

Remember, the lawmakers who approve these ridiculous laws are based in SF and LA and most of the state is relatively sane and leans republican. When gun dealers or individuals in other states try to make a political statement by stating "no shipping to California" or "no shipments to the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia" it is just adding insult to injury to firearms enthusiasts already fighting a tough battle. I've had people refuse to ship a remington 700 to CA. there are no special CA laws affecting ownership of bolt action rifles. --Jerry

Absolutely no doubt about it:rolleyes:. All of these new CA laws will eliminate any possibility whatsoever of any future occurrence of a "San Bernadino" weaponry-type of terrorist attack in CA . Right...that is right, isn't it...isn't it? Oh...just by law-abiding residents, you say.
