Trigger Modification Ban has passed out of Committee

After Vegas, you gotta know the nation is fairly united against the machine gun workarounds. They'll be pissed about 50cals & 'silencers' when mass murderers use them.
IMO, if the worst Dems come up with is this one thing, considering what else they could have dreamed up, then it seems irrational to oppose it.
CONCERNED is one thing, but being seen as irrational or wrong is not how we need to be seen w/resp to gun ownership.

I think the nation is for them. The Americans who just watch the main stream media and does not use any critical thinking feels they are against them.

As to what the Democrats do we must appose all of it. They are Anti-gun plain and simple. If we must treat every Muslim with respect because of a few bad apples we should be treated the same way.

What have they been dreaming up? That is very simple. CONFISCATION! TURN THEM IN!

It will now go before the State House and State Senate for debate and vote. Time to write your legislators on this:

"Senate Bill 5992, sponsored by Senator Kevin Van De Wege (D-24), mirrors federal legislation proposed by anti-gun California U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). ...

While this may be a bill proposed for Washington State, as stated in my post this Bill mirrors federal legislation proposed by Feinstein. The link at the bottom allows you to send letters to not only Washington State Officials but Federal Officials as well.

I urge each of you to send a notice to all the appropriate officials for your area and let them know that we are against this type of bill and any other gun control bill that puts undue restrictions and financial burden on law abiding gun owning citizens.

If we decide to do nothing because you think it doesn't affect you today, then be prepared to wake up some day and find that they have slowly picked away at your rights until you have none left.

Yup, one thing about the anti's is they know how to boil a frog.

Laws are laws, enforcing them is a totally different animal. You think that they will just show up at every single gun owners house and ask to 'inspect' your guns?

Agreed that would be a difficult task, however, it might just take a tip from someone that didn't like you. Probably not a misdemeanor.
All the laws they could ever come up with won't stop the sickoes hell bent on hurting people. It's already illegal to kill people, that hasn't stopped any sickoes. If not guns then?,,,,,,

It is difficult to stop those with evil intent. The laws in Australia are restrictive and they have all legitimate, registered firearm owners on a criminal database called Crimtrac.

What the do gooders here don't seem to realise is how easy it is for some fruitloop to grab a truck and drive the thing into a crowd of people. Far easier to kick normal law abiding folks in the guts instead, sadly. It is just easier than addressing the real causes. Over here disarmament is never far below the surface of their agenda.

Trigger modification ban isn't the only thing happening though. This is copied from From NRA-ILA,

"On Thursday, January 25th, the House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear a number of gun control bills that would negatively affect your Second Amendment rights.

House Bill 1387 seeks to restrict commonly owned semi-automatic firearms and standard capacity magazines and House Bill 2422 seeks to ban standard capacity magazines.

House Bill 2666 seeks to repeal Washington’s decades old state firearm preemption statute. The state preemption statute, which passed in 1983, helps keep firearm and ammunition laws consistent throughout Washington by establishing that the State Legislature has full authority to regulate and create laws pertaining to firearms and ammunition.

Not too familiar with your Second Amendment, but does it give the right to take the life of just anyone, friend or foe. I think not.
Gun control starts and stops with you!!

Not sure any of them know how anything works. Balancing a check book seems to be a major problem....
I agree,
Considering one of their main duties is to approve and pass a budget by Oct 1st each year and they have failed miserably for the last 9 years.
