Anyone shooting with one of these? I am thinking about buying one. Looking for some reviews, from shooters. they look pretty solid to me!!

I have never seen one used in competition. I have seen them at ranges during club or member free shooting time. They do not have the weight that I look for in a Bench Rest front rest. I'm not sure of your intentions or your wallet size but you can do a lot better for a little more money.

I have one and am very pleased with it. The joy stick control is a bit stiff, but a friend in Australia retro-fitted his with a simple fix for that which I will also do to mine.
I believe it is not possible to get a better front rest for 'a little' more money. Maybe three times as much. I put an S.E.B. front pad on it to accept a 3'wide stock and it works fine.

I have one, and it is OK. I will say they did do a few things right, the controls and feet are a standard threading as other rest.,Sinclair, heart, bald eagle)You can mount other tops to it. It has a good heavy weight. There is plenty of adjustment to go well past 1000 yards.

Things I did not like about it, first don't get the 1000 yard version, it is way too tall, I have seen others use them and they had to jack the rear bag up about 6 inches to use it. The feet don't have enough adjustment.

The center thread is massive, and with the threading it takes a lot of turns to adjust it. The rest is just not a solid as a heart rest, it just has some problem due with the wheel, and post set up. The Top is horrible it is far from solid, and the windage adjustment is horrible, it works on a pivot, it is light, and don't have a lot of adjustment. I changed springs in mine to use the adjustment, because of the factory spring it just don't have enough pressure to track all the way.

If interested I would consider selling mine.

The 'ROCK' works just fine for my applications. Solid and adjustable, but buy it only with FILLED bags, cause filling the bags is a pain in the A__! With practice, I file five rounds into a 3/4' circle. The REAR Caldwell filled bag merely adds to that pin-point accuracy. Then there's the real world of offhand-shooting. I favor the hasty-sling approach. Here bench bags mean less then nothing! Bench Bags are crucial to initial SIGHT-IN perfection. Once that is accomplished to your satisfaction, the REAL World of shooting afield begins . . . cliffy

I guess i am looking for something to prairie dog hunt with. Would this be ok for than? I hate to buy twice though, so maybe i should just get the sinclair rest. Thanks Lee

I have not owned one but looked at one in a local gun shop, to me it has to much slack in it. For about twice the money you can get a Sinclair. I do have one of these with the windage top, may not be top of the line but for what you are going to use it for it is plenty good enough.

I used one in a 600y F-Class match this weekend and it worked out very well. You can adjust the movement stiffness of the rest portion to your liking. Loose the bag that comes with the rest and get better aftermarket model.

Just recently upgraded my older 17# Sinclair 'All-Purpose' front rest with their newly designed windage top, now takes 3' wide forends, ratchet screw side bag adjustment & adjustable forend stop), and am even more pleased with it. In my opinion, this is one of the finest rests on the market: I'm sure there are others just as good, and maybe even better, but I'll continue to use the Sinclair for the rest of my days.:)
