cable windag on bald eagle

I read the article on Peter Whites windage cable system. His is on a Sinclair top. I have a older Bald Eagle windage top. Has anyone used this set-up? I've been looking at mine and would have to take it apart and reverse all the parts I think. It would need another screw to attach to cable female end. Holes drilled in rest and a bracket made to hold the knob end. Someone who has done this a picture would be awesome.
Any thoughts?

I made the one on my rest out of a weed eater cable. I did have to turn my top around.
