Not entirely sure what brands or recoil pad are preferred. I have a 6BR gun with McMillan Stock. Currently, not butt plate or recoil pad on it. I'm not as worried about the recoil considering its only a 6BR, but it looks kind of tacky without a butt plate on it, as you can see the fiberglass. However, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get an adjustable one. Any suggestions on where to look for a nice benchrest butt plate/pad.

Ive never seen one without a pachmayer decelerator on it and i see a bunch every year. I bet theyll send you one cheap if not free
Just a good-looking benchrest gun for my own personal enjoyment. Not looking to be in competition, but I've put a lot of money into the gun already, not looking to be a cheapo on the final part.
