Bush a bolt face with new extractor

Need a recommendation for some one to bush a .308 boltface to .223 and install mini 16 extractor.

Long Rifles Inc could probably do that. The ejector would probably need to be moved too. You might be better off buying a 223 bolt.

The ejector is the same on 223 and 308 Reminton 700 bolts. What kind of bolt Steve?

I bought a new stripped 223 bolt from a forum member. I screwed in the firing pin from the SS 308 single shot action into the blued 223 bolt and it just starts to cam over and thats it.
I don't know if the pin is slightly different or the cocking piece is, very strange

Walt is suggesting your problem is on the other end of the bolt.
