burris signature zee rings

Would anyone know why Burris signature zee rings are in such short supply? And if one supplier gets more than another that you can back order from?
Most of the time supply catches up with demand but these have been in short supply for quite a while!! The must be making some and I was wondering if it would be worth back ordering from a supplier.
I have a nightforce scope that I don't want to mark up because I may want to sell at some point!!

Seems like they relocated their factory not too long ago, and they haven't caught up yet. You're not the only one feeling the shortage, trust me.

I was very proud of myself when I found a set of these rings in a bucket of fishing lures at a tent sale at my local bait and tackle shop. They also sold me a new sightron scope they had had in the back for 7 years! I made out on that tent sale big time. Got the rings and scope for 300 bucks all new.

The word on this site, last Fall , was that they were relocating their plant but would be back in normal production in January 2012. We're well past January now, and for all those who need the Signatures, I'd consider getting on the phone, calling Burris & raising Hell.

Maybe if they got enough complaints, and realized how many sales they were losing, they would fix their problem.

I also will not use anything other than the Signatures, have them on all my 'scopes, mainly for the non-ringing issue, but also for the use of the off-set inserts, making it easy to cant the 'scope as required.

A really great product. Too bad Burris dropped the ball on this one.

Agreed, Frank. All my scopes are Sightrons AND mounted in the Signature rings.

Well now, this is interesting. I had to check the date of the original post.

I just performed a search as I will be needing more before long. Bing listed multiple sources with rings in stock. Or, did I miss something in this conversation?

WhenI last checked with the wholesaler I buy from,they have none.
