Burris pistol scope off kilter

Hello,
I got a free pistol scope with an XP...and when I got it home, I noticed the reticle is perhaps 3 degrees off from the turrets...it’s an old Burris, no longer made...what would you do with it? Mount it with the turrets level or the reticle level? Toss it?

Mount it with the reticle level and see what happens. If that doesn't meet your satisfaction, try it with the turrets level. You can always toss it if all else fails.

Mount it with the reticle level. I have few Burris that are that way but seem to function fine. You can always send it back to Burris to have them correct the issue. Burris has a forever warranty so they should fix it or replace it.

Leveling scopes to turrets often leads to reticle being off to some degree.

Don’t toss. Burris’ warranty is the best in the business.

Send it in. They will repair or replace with a new unit of comparable or better quality.

And since all their pistol scopes are high why, well, you’ll get a great scope.
