If there is more interest in the bullet sorting tool I can have more ready to ship within 7-10 days.

If you are only going to sort by one measurement then the OAL of the bullet seems to be the way to go. You can also sort by bearing surface, base to ogive, etc and it is more time consuming with minimal returns or impact on target.

I have been sorting by OAL using a set of calipers but it’s time consuming and requires care when placing the bullet on the caliper.

This tool will make sorting bullets a breeze and it won’t break the bank since it is 3D printed. It is comfortable to hold and quick to measure. I have measured .22(80.5, 85.5), 6mm(103,105,107,108) and 7mm(180 and 184) bullets and it has plenty of room for longer bullets. This design is best for longer high BC bullets. If you are trying to sort short range or shorter bullets the design of the v-block needs to change and be made shorter. It’s hard to design something that will accommodate from the shortest to longest bullets which is why I settled for what is mostly used in mid and long range.

The price for the tool as pictured is $110 shipped via USPS.

Hi there how do I get my hand on one of these as I live in Australia

Is sorting by OAL better than the ogive? I thought the ogive was the better way to do it?

I've been sorting by the ogive the last few years and it seems to be doing better for me. Takes a bit of time with calipers and the hornady bullet comparator though.

Might have to get me one of these new tools to speed up the process.

I bought one of these a few months ago and I’ve used it on everything I load for since.

There’s definitely a difference in accuracy but more so in “forgiveness”. When I think I threw one it doesn’t seem to be as far off as think it’s going to be.

Using this tool has definitely improved my scores and Lawrence is gtg
