Bullet jump. Most amount ever used.

My example is 77gr loaded to mag length 2.260 in a Wylde chamber where touching lands is 2.550". Lots of jump, the rifle liked one bullet more than others, and seated bullet concentricity became a very important measure.

If you're jumping that far, stay with tangential ogive designs, secants / VLDs almost guaranteed like less jump.

With my 1000 yard rifle I shoot Berger 210 VLD bullets out of a .308 Baer (.340 Whb. necked down to .308 shoulder moved forward and case blown out to a larger diameter)

I took a friend of a friend to the range and he had so many new rifles he had never shot before that he got confused and shot 223 ammo in a 7.62-39 rifle. The bullet hit the ground at 35 yds. So the longest I've seen is 35 yds.

Berger has some great articles on VLD and jump sensitivity.

In fact, answers to 99% of all of these questions reside in published media/academia; however, this subject being misconstrued as taboo means finding it is a challenge.

Please don't take my statements as verbatim (thou shall). Terms like "almost" and "most" just indicate my typical experiences and observations from 5000ft elevation and temperatures ranging from -10 to 104F. As is the purpose of this forum; your mileage may vary, meaning test all the theories presented here, the only way to find what works for you is to test these theories and collect your own data in your own rifle.

Except for pressure testing. 50gr of bullseye will overpressure just about everything. Don't test that please.
