Bullet Flight app for iPod

Has anyone used the Bullet Flight ballistics app for the iPod touch and iPhone? Is it accurate? The dope chart that it gives me does not seam right.

I have used mine for three different rifles. It was pretty close 1/2 MOA out to 500-600 yds. Past that, I am still trying to figure out what is wrong. I was thinking that my chrono may be misreading. Is it more elevation or windage?

I have both KAC BulletFlight and Ballistic FTE. For simplicity, I do like BulletFlight a little better. Both seem to give pretty close to the same results,for me) on target.

Most of the time when I have a problem with computed come-ups not matching reality, it ends up being a data-entry problem - chronograph maybe a little too optimistic, scope clicks IPHY instead of MOA,or just plain 'off'), using standard conditions for altitude vs. raw 'uncorrected' data, etc. Even with the above, most of the time they will be as mentioned - with in 1/2 moa out to 600yds. Beyond that... I've been as much as 4 moa off by 1k until I started ironing out all the little bugs mentioned above.

Most recently... with Berger reducing their advertised BC numbers,and I think Bulletflight uses the corrected G7 BC numbers for Berger VLDs and long range BTs)... my drops/come-ups have been off. Changing the BC values back to something closer to what they were before seems to make things 'work' again.

At any rate, once I get it working, it seems to stay working. A few weeks ago, I was at a three-day Palma match one weekend, and a two-day match the next. Both weekends,and several hours travel time apart), BulletFlight was 'on the money' w/i 1/4 moa at 800, 900, & 1000 yds for my 12 F/TR .308 load.
