Hi everyone,
I need a stock, and am looking for some direction.
I'm building a Savage 11G into a 6mm BR Norma, with one of Fred Moreo's SSS barrels in a 1-10 twist, 26" long. This is going to be a fun rifle for shooting 200-300 yrds mostly, and occationally longer as soon as I can build my skill level up to the task. I mostly shoot my .262 nk 6x47 .080" short at 100-200yards and get very nice groups, for my skill level).
Anyway I am wanting more of a BR or F-class stock for the Savage. I'll probably go with a laminate since money is a factor. I can't narrow down much more in shooting styles because I'm not familular with the rule's on different classes. I'm not concerned with keeping within any weight class yet. this is going to be shot prone and/or on a bench. I don't plan on carrying this rifle through the woods to shoot critters.
Thanks for any help,
Dan
