Build or buy??

the wife is allowing $1400 outta our taxes to my new hunter class rifle lol! just want to know some peoples opinions on what they would do? debating on building off a rem700 .243 i have or just goin with a decent AR what ya think? if you think build it what combo would you use? link to the rules and regs--->

If you are serious about competing in registered Hunter Class matches, an AR platform is NOT the way to go. The rifle, that tightneck linked you to, is a proven competitor and, priced fairly.

Used is the way to go. You will have a good action, stock and trigger. The gun may or may not need a barrel. Most used benchgun are still very good, the guy just wanted a new gun, or is getting out of shooting. You can save a ton of money.

WoW wish i wouldve seen that a month ago! just built my first F-classer and that 30br wouldve been perfect! thanks for the link! im gonna have to research the 30-44 a bit...not to familiar with it
