Mainly for fun and to fit in small spaces. Going to run Dixie Tri-ball in it as a home-defense SG for my wife.
Had a rusty NEF 12ga that has been sitting in the corner at my dad's since I was a kid. Taking the barrel down to 18.5", gonna have the action and barrel parkerized. Ordered a steel trigger guard and a youth model Choate stock to cut down further on OAL. Decided I needed to have more to hold onto because I figure recoil will be brutal so below is what i did. Some stainless crews and bolts and epoxy putty and then some bedliner. Should be an interesting piece once complete:
