BSWN

Here are the open scores courtesy of the ever helpful and friendly member immike, thanks Mike!

Lots of phenomenal scores in there, congratulations to Dwayne Draggoo on the win and to Lester Bruno on what looks like a new national record!

I traded going to this match so I could celebrate 25 yrs of hard labor.. Uh marriage I meant, down at Orlando with the warden.

At least after 25 years you ought to be used to the outfit ;)

Kieth Weil (cigar cop) gets the credit for taking the time to relay them down the line. Thanks Keith

I mentioned my plans to shoot this year's BSWN to my wife about the time we celebrated our 39th anniversary late last October.

That I never got a reply led me to believe it probably wasn't worth mentioning again, if I knew what's good for me... and if I expect to celebrate 40 years NEXT October.

Sure hope somebody participating can post the sling scores (please!) sometime before they get posted to desertsharpshooters.com.

Drew, I haven't pulled the trigger since a match at the beginning of November......:(......These pics sure make we wish i was there!
Jade, I figured this would be prime shooting days in LA. And why are you not at BSWN? Figured you'd be there in the mix...I went to an indoor range today just to take the edge off after seeing that 600y target;). Ill have to see about getting down your way sometime this summer. PaloAlto is on the short list. Drew

Edit: just saw the scores. Great shooting everyone, esp Bruno and Ian for the new Nat Records and Dwayne and Ian for the Match Wins! After nearly 21 years of marriage, I made a deal with my wife for Worlds (its over her birthday.....) instead of BSWN.....

Please explain how is the scoring system that Lester Bruno can shoot 23 X's from twenty shots to count in the first 600? Incredibly great shooting but down here in Australia the maximum number of X's cannot be more than the number of shots to count so I don't understand.

I want to thank Scott Harris for inviting everyone to his home, after the match, for a barbecue and fellowship. Meeting some of the great people on here and being able to put a face to the name and enjoying their company was really a great time. AND congrats to the winners and to Lester for his National Record!

I have been looking for sling results too. This is all I have found.

SLING (Palma)
Allen Thomas, 600-40X
Benjamin Lucchesi, 600-37X
Erik Rhode, 599-49X
Anette Wachter, 599-45X
Trudie Fay, 599-39X

Goood job Eric! Wow that's one high x count, bet that 9 still stings a bit. Also great shooting to Lester Bruno. Congratulations to all the top open guys. Wish I was there. Next year for sure.

Erik was shooting really well this last fall. Has anyone see a full list of the shooters? Would like to know how some of the other midwest shooters did.

Drew, I normally don't shoot matches in December and January as i concentrate on deer/hog hunting mostly. I would have loved to be in Phoenix this week shooting but it just wasn't meant to be this year. My FTR gun is actually bout to get rebarreled probably next week so it'll be break in and load work in the near future. Hoping to shoot a match in March with the new barrel and get it ready for the big match in Houston, TX. in April (LR State Championship). Hopefully you can make it down here later in the year, look forward to shooting with you. Best of luck at the Worlds in Canada, don't look like i'll make that one either.
