BRUX Barrels

Tom, I don't want to burden you with those barrels,and the other one's are still pretty good. But i have a very new Kreiger you may use for your garden........ LOL... jim

JD, I don't see them as over priced, when you have to have them chambered and a brake installed. Those add up to more than the barrel. That is two records and a National win with a Brux i know of,not bad for a small company..... jim

Brux barrels sucks, service is terrible. Stop using them so I can get mine done. I have to bring Norm liquid refreshments now and order Ken stocks or they don't even let me in the door. I do think they have a couple national records with my name on them hanging the office. I recommend for my own benefit that everybody stay away from them. James Croft can tell you about the lousy service. I would like to be able to go someplace and just buy what I need without having the mandatory wait and all you guys do is slow me down! Honestly though, I couldn't begin to play this game without Norm Brux. Every time I come up with some stupid idea he makes it work. No one better in the industry and a true friend to many many people. Ken is kind of hard to deal with (hope he reads this). You will see a Brux barrel at or near the top in Raton.

My Krieger, Bartlein and Brux barrels have all performed very well for me. But, I am a Brux dealer. Draw your own conclusions.

Have your bore scoped a benchmark? I have a brux going a 30 cal build but want to also give benchmark a try on my 6.5x284. I have heard they are the finest finished barrels made, just wondering if you can confirm that or give me your opinion of them.

I have never seen a benchmark or owned one, but I can tell you they are not winning any matches in F-Open. Krieger, Bartlein, and Brux are the top three.

I do shoot a SEB, but there will only be another one like mine. It's unique and you will see what I mean when you see it. And mine is chrome, it shines like a diamond in a goat's a$$! ;D
