BRs ?

ok thanks i have redding 6 br dies already will they work with the BRX going to shoot 300 to a 1000 yds
The sizing die will not get the last .100 which will eventually catch up. I never tried a straight 6br seating die but I guess it might.I bought the original dreamer which Clymer had permission to sell not realizing it was set up for 68 gr bullets. So I bought a throater, seated a bullet with the pressure ring half way up the neck and had it throated so a tiny mark was left from the lands. This leaves plenty of room to tune seating depth.. I get all my chambers done this way.

So a REGULAR- popular winning 6BR would be better than anything else- it set the first records, brass is ready to use out of the box- reamers laying everywhere- those dies are simple to use- first firing on brass can be used at matches to win group- winning loads posted all over this form-

The SEARCH icon will show you… just type 6BR loads for a certain bullet… from 55gr- to 109gr..
powder variety is abundant- so are the primer choices-

KISS

I am on my 6 th BRX barrel and have had excellent results with everyone. Form ur brass with the false shoulder method. VV140 or Varget will get u as many Xs as u can hold with 105-107 gr. Bullets, no matter what ur game is.
My reamer is a .272 no turn neck with a .104 freebore.

what twist do you have on your brx barrels?

look at the equipment list of this year 600yd and 1K Nationals
pretty much even split between BRA, Dasher and 6BR, I don't see many other 6mm variants being used by top shooters
If you want easy to tune cartrige and better barrel life go with 6BR but BRA and Dasher will give you a bit more horsepower and that could be an advantage in longer distance when the wind is not cooperating.

So no top shooters are using the BRX ?

Jeff....You still regretting that last BRA ?? I know it seemed you
always put a BRX in the bags the last few years, and almost un-
beatable at the 400 yard match's I attended.
Actually Fuj I have shot BRXs for I guess close 20 years some years 2 of them. Lots of barrels. Yes might go back to it, depends on how much Springer airgun competition I can find or get started. I have done well with it on paper and shooting steel out to 1000 yd.
