Browning 6x scope. I think from late 70’s 80’s

Picked up this scope as part of an auction lot.
Was not planning to keep it, but on eBay I saw similar Browning scopes in 4x fixed were listed at $400-$600.
Can someone enlighten me as to what I am missing.
Would be greatly appreciated. Very cool reticle.

Listed and selling price are two different things! Looks a lot like a redfield. I'm sure it was made by a scope maker to Brownings spec and price point.

Thank you Frank, I think the same. The 4x Browning is a Redfield according to information I found.
I still don’t see the value as the Redfield’s are cheaper for the same quality. Maybe matching rifle brand to the scope brand is the goal.

You may very well be right, but I remember reading back in the day that the Browning scopes were made by Burris, and I find that one look a lot like the Burris Signature of the day. JMO
