Brother impressed!

Saturday we were at our cabin in South Central PA and I used the time to bag #49 & #50 Groundhogs for the season. First one at a lasered 188 yards and the second at 285. Both were dispatched with my custom 700 SA chambered in .243 Ackley Improved shooting the Berger 66 grain High BC Flatbase bullet at 3950 fps. Things slowed down a bit after shooting and a flock of Pigeons landed at 283 yards. My brother/spotter asked if I thought I could hit them. See results below! Of course then he stated that I should have lined up two! Some people are never happy!

Well, you shoulda just shot that sucker tween the eyes. 8)

That would have handled it.... ;)

2dogs, That would have been quite the feat! Darn pigeons rarely stand still long enough to get a shot off! When they are walking they do that head to and fro thing like a chicken!
We both shot on the Rifle Team in high school. I lettered three years and am not sure how many he did but by the number of 100 10X's posted on the wall I was the better shot! Says me anyhow! ;D
