Going back to the press side of things, it is possible that your warm loads have work hardened the case bodies to the point that the friction shoving it into your sizer is substantially higher, which would cause less shoulder bump.
Run a piece of once-fired in, and measure the gap between the shellplate/shellholder and the bottom of the die. Repeat with a piece of 4X-fired. If there's a difference, you've found your problem.
