Brass choice for FT-R

Gents,

Getting a new FT-R barrel spun up and going to get 200 pieces of new brass.

I can either get the lapua small rifle primer and use the RWS small rifle primers I have on hand

Or

Get alpha munitions 308 brass with large rifle primers.

Barrel is gonna finish at 30" and 1:10, slinging 200.20x with varget

I know alpha is new but have been getting great reports so far

No comment on your primer choice (RWS), never used them or know anyone else using them.

I'm fixing to have a 308 built and I went with the lapua Palma brass,going to try 205ms,450s,and rem 71/2 since that's what I have might buy a 100 br4 to try also.Good luck with your rifle.

^^^This! You'll be glad you did. I always check the usual online vendors when preparing to order brass. Usually, at least one of them has a lower price and/or shipping that's enough to make a small difference: Bruno's, Powder Valley, 3rd Generation, Graf's, Recob's, etc. Only takes a few minutes to check.
