Brakleen or alternative

I know guys that shoot poly auto paint in shorts and a covid mask.

I'm not sure I would use car guys as an example.

Once, a buddy and I painted the underside of a smaller boat ... wearing masks and nearly full body suits. Wasn't enough. With a couple of gaps in the coverage, we each had a deep rich navy blue embedded here and there. Took weeks to get it off the skin completely. Which probably explains a lot ...:)

As a young painter I had long hair, then I painted a 28' fishing boat for some friends.
Been shaving my head ever since.

Ended up going with the FSB pump & spray and a gallon jug of Brakleen. Little spendy for the Non-Chlorinated version but German made quality and I don’t mind spending the money on a good product. Used it yesterday for a chamber job and so far I like it.

CRC Mass airflow sensor cleaner is the best I've used. Expensive, but cleans amazingly well, dries fast, and won't harm any finishes

Sprayer wasn't cheap either. Lol
That's the harsh chemical resistant unit

For a premium solvent look at Glasurits 360-4 metal cleaner. You can find it at automotive paint jobber that sells BASF products.
It ain't cheap.
It's a very HOT slow solvent for removing any petroleum based contaminates prepping raw metal for paint.
Red scotch Brite with this product will remove lite surface rust.
Red scotch Brite on aluminum and your ready for etch epoxy or ceracoat.
It will soften painted surfaces so be careful!!
Typing this made me wonder how it will work as a bore cleaner. Lol
Nah, don't even start that, lol.

Ya, sorry that’s what I was referring too. It’s one of if not the most expensive in the line. I am thinking I will get a few of the regular ones like you linked to Amazon for some more general products.

Don't drop it on the nozel, I've busted 2 of the green.
The standard sprayer holds up pretty good, I've had mine for years.

I bought the harbor freight version of the sprayer can that's charged from the air compressor. I bought 99% isopropyl alcohol from Amazon and I found a nail salon supply on eBay that has 100% alcohol and acetone for $29 a gallon.

That thing works amazingly well I love it It's exactly what I needed to replace the expensive spray cans. Works absolutely flawlessly.

Thanks for all the suggestions on this thread.
