Brake Question

With a 15-17# rifle, will I be able to see hits at 600 yards?

If a brake is needed, has anyone used the Harrell's?

I have 4 Harrell brakes, they all work fine. I have one on a 6mmAI, you can see the bullet impact at 600 yds.

OK, but, I guess I'm asking: can you see the hits without the brake/break?

My 6 BR shooting 107s cannot see hits. Mine is about 12#'s with scope. Just enough to move out of site pic, I tried giving it a death grip and accuracy went to heck. I hold on to rifle, but not a death grip.

So, which configuration if I go with the Harrell's?

Just ask Mr. Harrell to send me a good one?

Do the Harrell's have the "sound" holes in the end like the SSS do?

This is going on a 1.055 dia barrel.

I did ask him about his designs, and he told me they only had one.

Got my brake installed today at a bud's house. Turned out well, I think.

One more question about brake's...

Is it the same P.O.I with/without brake ??
Is is some difference in group size with/without brake.

What i'am asking are: do you got the same precision with/without brake ??

Unless your exit hole is to small or not centered on the bore, you should see the same accuracy. You may have to tune the load a little to compensate for the different harmonics, but will not hurt accuracy. I am using a Harrel and a homemade one.
