OK so I am bragging a lot! I walked carefully to my stand this morning after seeing several deer running around. Got set up and fogged my cold bino’s, but did see horns at 150 yards. Looked through the 7-08 AI Rimmed scope and ascertained he had horns and was about to run after the does. Needed to drop him instantly, and the Hart barreled stubbed Encore did it’s job. I had gotten the tractor/loader and the hind legs skinned by the time my son got there. No sense of making a big job out of this! Not a trophy but is is for me, I am 85.

Give it ‘the old college try’ everyday!

We had Thanksgiving dinner with a group from our winter community. A gentleman across from me is 91 years old, still working 32 hours a week for the company he owned and sold 20 years ago building high-end custom kitchens. That is some serious stamina. You keep on bragging' on that deer at 85. You deserve it! Oh, the last project this old guy completed was for a very well known NY Yankee player.

76 Open heart surgery less than a year ago. Got my deer a couple of days ago.
