BR rules?

If a guy mounted a small camera to the scope and viewed through a screen off to one side while shooting, would that be illegal? Would it need to be attached to the gun (screen)? For F-class, BR type shooting

I would imagine that since it is attached to the rifle, even if the screen were separated, the camera would add to the weight. You would have to lighten the rifle to compensate.
You might post this on benchrestcentral.com for further clarification.

Per IBS rules "Any sights are allowed"**.....however any attachment to the rifle including sights must meet the weight limit ( Heavy Bench in group, and Heavy Gun in LR have no weight limit)......so if the monitor is hard-wired, it must be considered part of the gun.
** The exception is in Hunter Class where Scopes must be 6 power or less.

Has everyone seen a Nite site or how the camera hooks up? My thinking is a stationary lens would have almost zero parallax movement or eliminate problems with not getting anchored behind the scope perfectly in the same place..i-phone attachment would probably work if the phone didn't bounce around..
