front rest rules for F class open class

I have read the rules for F class open about the bottom plate not having adjustable mounts.I read this is not legal because its not bench rest.On occasion I have seen guys with adjustable plates with the rest mounted to it.Then mounts that level the plate which levels the rest mounted to the plate which is one unit.Is the rest supposed to be non adjustable for level when mounted to a plate.Or is the rest by itself with the round feet allowed while sitting on wood or plate while not attached or is only spikes allowed from the bottom of the rest not more than two inches.Or can the rest without a plate be adjustable for level or is most guys shooting with an illegal rest and plate. Thanks

As far as I know, the rule has been interpreted to mean that as long as the rest is bolted firmly to the plate then the plate can have leveling screws. But there is still the 2 inch rule for boards and things under the adjustment screws. The wording of these rules can be confusing, but that is how I have seen them interpreted.
